Tim Hursthouse became a self-employed accountant in 1997 after a seven-year placement in commercial property management, where he represented Japanese investors in the Australian market.
In 1988 he lived in Tokyo for two years where he studied Japanese language and worked in an advertising agency.
Prior to that he worked in the hospitality industry, and for a time owned a vegetarian restaurant in New Zealand.
With clients in a variety of industries ranging from photography to community care, and from legal services to retail, he divides his time between Sydney, the NSW Central Coast and Fiji.
